A former Deliveroo rider has now created a successful business now working with the food delivery giant
A businessman has revealed his journey to success from being a Deliveroo rider to partnering with the food delivery giant
Benjamin Lebus launched his firm Mob in 2016 as a Facebook page where he shared videos of recipes for four people costing less than a tenner.

But, things didn’t pick up the way he would have liked and at six months after launching – the page had just 10,000 followers on Facebook and 4,000 on Instagram.
So, to get the word to locals and earn some cash, the 31-year-old took things into his own hands- becoming a Deliveroo rider.
Benjamin cycled round his hometown of Oxford, delivering grub and sneaking in flyers for his venture in pizza boxes – whilst chatting to customers far and wide.
And all the graft paid off.
Just eight years later, Benjamin’s business Mob has partnered with Deliveroo, providing a full circle moment for the entrepreneur, reports What’s The Jam.
He said: “Fast forward eight years, I am very proud to announce that we are partnering with Deliveroo.
“It is a perfect partnership.
“Mob provides you with delicious, easy recipes.
“Deliveroo Groceries provides you with fresh ingredients, delivered right to your door, in as little as 20 minutes.
“We will be releasing a series of delicious lunch and dinner recipes, the ingredients for which you’ll be able to get through Deliveroo.
“On top of this, we have launched our brand new Mood Tool, powered by Deliveroo.
“Simply pick your mood, pick a dish, get the ingredients from Deliveroo and get cooking.
“A lovely full circle moment.”
He shared a snap of him in his Deliveroo uniform in 2016.
And another with his team holding the iconic delivery bag celebrating the partnership.
His success story has captured the hearts of hard-working Brits.
“Brilliant, all around , absolutely brilliant. And let’s get people falling in love with cooking,” commented Tom.
Kate added: “Love this and love mob recipes so very glad you stuck with it and persevered.”
Janja said: “Incredible full circle moment, which only proves to never judge someone based on their current job.
“Who knows, maybe he or she is developing the next big thing.”
“You absolute monster.
“I mean that in the best way wow what a way to get the product moving. I love this,” quipped Erin.
Linda added: “You’re the second entrepreneur I’ve noticed this week saying you did this while also running your business.”
