A man has revealed how he created a luxury car business, selling to the rich and famous at just 25 years old.
Ryan Mcateer sold his first car at 19, but found himself struggling to stay at work, unable to keep a job.
Starting work at a prestige car company, he came up with the idea to find the customer before you find the car, finding the perfect car for them.

Opening his own business at only 22, he now rubs elbows with big names including actors, TV presenters, and Love Island contestants, turning over £100,000 a month in the process.
“I had sold cars since I was 19, but kept getting sacked as I would not come in, or I’d be late – I just really wasn’t dedicated,” the 25-year-old, from Liverpool, told AbsoluteBusiness.com.
“That was until I started working at a business selling prestige cars at the age of 22.
“Most car dealerships stock used cars for months on end and they use loans which cost money in order to buy stock.
“A lot of the time they sit there, unsold, which costs the business thousands, sometimes millions depending on the operation.
“I had the idea to get the customer before we got the car.
“I must have worked at circa 15 car sales garages prior to the prestige garage, and I had a really good understanding of what works and what doesn’t.
“I was always the top performer wherever I worked because I simply knew that if you give the customer exactly what they want, how could they say no?
“The best way to be able to give them exactly what they want is to understand them, qualify them correctly, meet all their demands and needs, and then deliver.”

Opening Rockstar Car Finance at just 22, Ryan decided to find the customers via Instagram, guaranteeing them the right car for them.
He said: “One day, I walked into work, collected my things and simply left because I knew I could do this by myself.
I literally didn’t have a penny at this point. All I had was a phone full of customers and an idea.
“The ironic thing about it was, I didn’t even have a driving license at the time.
“So I went round every dealership I could, for five days, begging someone to let me work from their premises and start Rockstar Car Finance.
“Eventually, a dealership in Manchester let me and I sold all the customers I had on the go, cars, which gave me money to open an office in Liverpool.”
Now, three years later, Ryan has two offices and a successful business selling high-end cars and earning over £100,000 a month.
He added: “I soon started to get enquiries from celebrities due to my good reviews so I knew this would be brilliant for the business.
“At one point, I sold a £200,000 Lamborghini Urus, so I was starting to get noticed by more and more celebrity clients.
“Now, I have sold cars to the likes of Real Housewives stars such as Rachel Lugo, Celebs Go Datings, Nadia Essex, Love Island, Hannah Elizabeth, Towies, Clelia, Chloe Ross and Chloe Brockett and countless influencers, because they know I do the best deals, the best service and the best cars.
“I love it because every single day is different, for example, an influencer is currently buying a new Porsche from me, but she wants it wrapped in pink chrome, and her wish is our command.”
